What Is the Injection Process?
Lip injections are performed in-office for patients over 21 years of age. Restylane® Silk uses a lidocaine gel to numb the lips for a pain-free treatment. Dr. Messa will use a fine needle to inject the solution into the lips and shape and define your lip appearance. The whole treatment process takes less than one hour.
You will be able to see results within hours. However, some minor swelling may last for three days and affect your appearance.
